I am a fully registered and accredited individual and group psychotherapist, a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

I work in a variety of settings. I am an Associate Counsellor at Trinity Laban, and have a private practice in three Central/East London locations (Greenwich, King's Cross, Leytonstone).

My group work includes personal development groups, specialist groups for performing arts students and reflective practice groups for the charity Football Beyond Borders.

Ongoing supervision supports my development as a therapist and ensures the quality of my work.

I work in English and Dutch, and use my knowledge of other languages to support my work with clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.

I offer some low cost spaces in my private practice  to accommodate those on lower incomes.

My Approach

Like all psychotherapies, Gestalt psychotherapy offers a safe space to explore what is going on for you. The Gestalt approach very deliberately engages with your "whole-you" experience, which includes your bodily sensations, thoughts and feelings as you are, right now.

Gestalt also pays special attention to how you are "in relation" with your context: think of the life situations you are in, the people in your life, and even the therapist in the room.

Together, we work to increase your awareness of what is happening for you, as well as any patterns you have developed in response to significant events and relationships in your life. At times these patterns may no longer serve you, and therapy offers a space to explore what it is you need now, and how you might move towards that.

Clients come to me for a variety of reasons, from 'feeling stuck' to anxiety, depression, family and relationship trouble, identity exploration, disordered eating, issues around neurodiversity of any kind, abuse and trauma. In our first two sessions together we both see if we are a good fit before we proceed with shorter or longer term therapy.

I am committed to running an inclusive practice. I adhere to the ethical code as set out by UKCP. I am also a friend member of BAATN.
